Wheel Guns are Real Guns
When Clint Smith recommends revolvers for self defense people should listen. Clint is one of the national experts on defensive shooting in the country and runs Thunder Ranch. He is a Marine Corps veteran of two infantry and Combined Action Platoon tours in Vietnam. His experience includes seven years as a police officer during which he served as head of the Firearms Training Division as well as being a S.W.A.T. member and precision rifleman.
A lot of people say that revolvers are outdated. Well there are a lot of people that still depend on them. They very rarely malfunction. Because they don’t have a magazine in the grip, they are often easier to hold on to. You can change the grips to fit most any hands.
