One of the big questions we get is what is a the best first handgun for a woman. Well it can depend on a few things. The size of the woman, her experiences with firearms, where she lives, etc.

A couple things that we want to add – make sure you don’t go too small and light. The recoil will be too much with a light gun. Heavy isn’t always bad. Also look out for arm and grip strength. A woman might need to go with a revolver because they won’t be able to cycle the slide.
