You have to take firearms safety seriously. You have to take it even more seriously if you have children in the house. An important thing to remember that children while you can teach safety will still do irresponsible things. You have to have some safety precautions in place for them.
Practicing gun safety needs to be way of life if you are going to have a gun in your household.
