Pistol Shooting from the Prone Position

Shooting from the prone position is a skill you should work on. You don’t see a lot of people on the range practicing it.

You might find yourself on the ground  due to incoming fire or a fall. You could also be forced to shoot from the prone due to the cover you are behind.

In any case, there are some techniques to moving to the prone and ways to hold the gun so that you get a good stable platform.
