What You Need to Know About Pocket Carry Guns

The best gun to have is the gun you have when you need it. While a big bore auto with a huge magazine is preferable when going Pocket Carry Gunsagainst a threat; you might not be able to have that with you. For these occasions, pocket carry guns are a good alternative.

A pocket carry gun generally has a barrel length under 6 1/2 inches. In the old days, that left out .45 ACP or 40 S&W but now you can find smaller guns with these more powerful calibers. Word of warning – make sure you can handle the kick of them.

Your choices are going to dictated by weight, length and width of the gun. You have to think about the type of pants you wear. The average guy’s pants pockets are seven to eight inches but pretty tight. Bigger guys and women will have to thing about what they wear in order to choose the right pocket carry gun for them.

Don’t think about carrying without a holster. You need one to keep your gun safe, concealed, clean and accessible.
