You don’t know what you don’t know. That’s an old saying that has a lot of truth in it. We found a great video with 5 things you should know if you are a concealed weapons carrier.

Make sure you watch the video because it demonstrates these:

  • Add weight to loose fabric to help flip it out of the way during extraction. Add rocks or coins to your pockets.
  • Use your guard hand to keep loose fabric out of the way during extraction.
  • Speed is important, but is no good if you miss your target. Work on your form and graduate to speed training.
  • Critically analyze your misses.
  • When using an Inside the Waist Band (IWB) holster, use your guard hand to move the fabric away and keep it from interfering with the draw.

One way to improve your speed and form is dry fire.

Watch the video and let us know your concealed carry tips in the comments.
